I would like to capture streaming GD concerts for personal listening. I'm connecting to the Live Music Archive on a 56K modem from AOL. My AOL Media Player or RealOne player display long periods of buffering when listening to HiFi or LoFi streams. Any fixes or suggestions appreciated.

Get DSL or cable ASAP. Broadband connections handle more data at once and require less buffering. I just use my standard Windows Media Player to listen to streams on the archive.

A 56K dial up modem just won't do the job! AOL is now charging the same price for DSL; so you're getting ripped off too...

Thanks to everyone for their help on this. I've ordered up DSL, and yes, Total Recorder is a good idea, too.
